Job summary

CUTECH QUALITY SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced civil/structural supervisor to oversee site works, ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications. You will maintain records, coordinate with main contractors and help resolve design issues with QPs on temporary and permanent works.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in civil engineering, a recognized C&S degree, and experience with PSSCOC. Shift work and aviation sector familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 10+ years civil & structural engineering experience, incl. 8+ years on major projects.
• C&S engineering degree recognised by PEB Singapore.
• Accredited with IES & ACES JAC.
• Proficient in PSSCOC contract administration.
• Proven experience leading supervision teams.
• Knowledge of Changi Aerodrome Manual preferred.
• WSHMCI certification and relevant trainings.
• Conversant with codes/requirements for site supervision and progress reporting.
• Shift work capability.
• Aviation/aerodrome sector experience preferred.

Job Description

• Monitor, supervise and inspect works on site as directed by CAG/QP(S)/QP(Geo)/QP(MEP) and the project consultants.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, safety & quality standards.
• Maintain proper site records and submit progress reports.
• Coordinate with the main contractor(s) and follow the applicable shift/roster work schedule.
• Plan roster/shift duties per the contractors' work schedules (compliant with all relevant Acts/Regulations) and ensure welfare of reporting personnel.
• Work with QP(D)/QP(S) to resolve design and technical issues on Temporary and Permanent Works.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' relevant civil & structural engineering experience, of which at least 8 years on projects of similarsize /complexity (major construction works, structural steelworks and drainage).
• C&S engineering degree recognised by PEB Singapore.
• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES & ACES.
• Proficient in PSSCOC contract administration.
• Proven past experience leading supervision teams.
• Knowledge of the Changi Aerodrome Manual preferred.
• Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry (WSHMCI) and other trainings per Cl. 4.2.
• Conversant with statutory codes/requirements for site supervision, quality control, safety & health, construction administration and progress reporting.
• Strong supervision & leadership skills, proactive in resolving site issues with good team spirit.
• Relevant experience in the Aviation/Aerodrome sector preferred.
• Able to perform shift work.
• C&S QSS will be required to visit fabrication yards with QPs for inspection/audit checks.
