Job summary

CUTECH QUALITY SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. seeks a senior Civil & Structural Engineering leader to direct and manage complex construction projects to the highest professional, technical and safety standards.

You will oversee manpower deployment with main contractors’ schedules, ensure personnel welfare, and remain conversant with WSH, AOS, and related manuals and updates. Candidates with PE Board recognition, IES & ACES accreditation, and aviation/aerodrome experience are preferred; shift work and site

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years' civil & structural engineering experience, incl. 15+ years on large projects.
• PEB-recognised C&S engineering degree; IES & ACES accredited.
• Currently employed by the Contractor for at least 5 years; PSSCOC proficient.
• WSHMCI certification and relevant safety trainings per Cl. 4.2.

• Maintain familiarity with Changi Aerodrome Manual, AOS procedures, and WSH Manual updates.

Job Description:

• Provide overall team direction and management to realise project objectives to the highest professional, technical and safety standards.
• Oversee and administer QSS manpower deployment per the main contractors' work schedules and ensure personnel welfare.
• Keep conversant with the Changi Aerodrome Manual, Airside Works Procedures Manual, AOS requirements and WSH Manual, including all updates/circulars.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 20 years' relevant civil & structural engineering experience, of which at least 15 years on projects of similarsize /complexity (major construction works, structural steelworks and drainage).
• C&S engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board(PEB) Singapore.
• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES & ACES.
• In current employment under the Contractor for a minimum of 5 years.
• Proficient in PSSCOC contract administration.
• Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry(WSHMCI) and other trainings per Cl. 4.2.
• Strong supervision & leadership skills, proactive in resolving site issues with good team spirit.
• Relevant experience in the Aviation/Aerodrome sector preferred.
• Able to perform shift work.
• C&S QSS will be required to visit fabrication yards with QPs for inspection/audit checks.
