Job summary

TW-ASIA CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineering Supervisor in Singapore. The role involves managing a team of technical supervisors to ensure compliance with regulations and oversee site activities.

Qualifications

• Accredited with IES/ACES with a valid Resident Engineer Practicing.
• Must have experience in condominium project.

Job Description

• Manage a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client's requirements.
• To report to C&S QP, works closely with the regulatory authorities and contractors to provide supervision on site, resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the projects.
• To be competent in carrying out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site. The appointed person must have the strong ability to interpret the drawings and contract documents on works to be carried.
• Appointed person possesses a complete understanding of local requirements, especially to comply with BCA's criteria for build-ability and safety assurance system.
• To carry out regular site checks on Builder and ensure compliance on health and work safety in accordance with MOM.
• To manage the site supervisors with respect to C&S engineering works, architectural and MandE engineering works.
• To attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings. Interpret drawings and contract documents on works to be carried.

Job Requirement

• Recognized Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for registration with the PE Board, Singapore.
• Accredited with IES/ACES with a valid Resident Engineer Practicing.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience preferably in steel and precast building construction.
• Must be familiar with local Regulations/Codes for Civil and Structural related to building projects.
• Must have experience in condominium project.
• A good team player and experience in leading a team of Resident Technical Officers.
• Carry out regular site checks on Builder and ensure compliance on health and work safety in accordance with MOM.
• Supervision of C&S and Architecture works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor’s works on site.
• Strong ability to interpret the drawings and contract documents on works to be carried.
• Supervision and manage site supervisors with respect to C&S and Architecture Work.
• Ability to resolve site and technical issues, prepare and document detailed site progress reports.
