Job summary

TW-ASIA CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. is looking for an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to assist in supervising construction projects in Singapore. The ideal candidate must hold a recognized diploma and have at least 8 years of relevant experience, specifically in steel and precast building construction.

Responsibilities include site supervision, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited with IES/ACES.
• Must have familiarity with local Regulations/Codes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervision and inspection of construction work.
• Monitor progress and ensure safety on site.
• Inspect delivery materials and check compliance with drawings.

Job Description

• Recognized Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for registration with the PE Board, Singapore.
• Accredited with IES/ACES with a valid Resident Technical Officer Practicing Certificate.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in construction, preferably in steel and precast building construction.
• Must be familiar with local Regulations/Codes for Civil and Structural related to building projects.
• A good team player and experience in assisting Resident Engineer in supervision.
• Ability to resolve site and technical issues, prepare and document detailed site progress reports.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD are preferred.

Job Requirements

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervision and inspection of construction work on site
• Monitor project progress schedule and quality standards, ensure safety on site
• Maintain and update site records on project progress
• Inspect and monitor quality of architectural finishing material delivered to site
• Check all drawings (including authority submission drawings and shop drawings)
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance to statutory requirements
