Job summary

Twilio seeks a remote-based Solutions Engineer for the APJ team, covering Australia, Singapore, and Japan. You will shape next-generation customer engagement experiences powered by Twilio’s platform and present engaging demonstrations to diverse stakeholders, from front-line staff to C-level executives.

The role blends deep technical work with executive relationship building, driving architectural decisions and prototyping. Travel ~35% is anticipated to connect with customers in person as needed.

Qualifications

Experience with cloud computing, CPaaS and AI.
Excellent public speaking, storytelling and interpersonal skills.
Curious mindset, willing to learn new technology and adapt.

Responsibilities

Discovery & Scoping: Lead client discovery sessions to identify business challenges, goals, and core value drivers.
Solution Design: Translate complex customer requirements into high-level future-state architecture and implementation roadmaps.
Product Demonstrations: Deliver customized software demos, presentations, and POCs for audiences from staff to executives.
Sales Support: Address technical objections, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and partner with Account Executives to accelerate closures.
