Job summary

Abnormal is seeking a Singapore-based Sales Development Representative to drive outbound prospecting and qualify opportunities for our growth-focused team.

You will contact potential clients, identify needs, map them to Abnormal products, and work with a distributed sales organization to hit monthly and quarterly targets. Experience with cold calls, emails, and AI-enhanced outreach is valued.

Qualifications

• 6 months - 1+ years proven work experience in a Business Development role
• Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role (less experience acceptable for right candidate)
• Ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
• Understanding customer pain points and mapping value to solutions
• Ability to manage multiple requests and time demands while meeting quotas
• Experience with multiple sales techniques including cold calling
• Interest in leveraging AI to sharpen prospect outreach
• Driven, team-oriented and competitive
• BA/BS degree or relevant experience
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus

Responsibilities

• Contact potential clients through outbound cold calls and emails
• Identify client needs and suggest relevant products/services
• Proactively seek new business opportunities
• Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
• Demonstrate leadership and effective sales planning with internal and external stakeholders
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly targets
• Partner and work across sales teams
• Act as the subject matter expert on Abnormal Security offerings
