Ethos is seeking experienced humanities researchers to train AI language models on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.

Candidates with 4+ years in museums, galleries, arts nonprofits, or humanities scholarship will create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated materials across workflows like exhibition essays, funding applications, donor decks, and artist bios. Remote, flexible schedule, ASAP start, $70/hour.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a museum, gallery, cultural institution, arts nonprofit, or academic humanities setting producing scholarly or public-facing written material.
• Demonstrated command of art-historical, literary, or cultural research methods and the ability to translate scholarship into clear, board- or public-ready writing.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
• Develop outputs for workflows such as exhibition catalog essays, cultural funding applications, and donor briefing decks.
• Produce artist biographical profiles and public programming outlines with high accuracy and clarity.
