Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a contract management professional in Singapore to oversee reinsurance contracts and provide legal support. The role combines contract management with regulatory compliance duties and cross-functional collaboration.

You will draft, review, and maintain contracts, ensure templates reflect current requirements, and assist with portfolio transfers, novations, and related documentation. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
• Experience in contract management, legal documentation, or contractual support is required.
• Familiarity with drafting, reviewing, and administering commercial or reinsurance contracts.
• Understanding of contract lifecycle management, including execution, amendments, novation, and portfolio transfers.
• Basic knowledge of Singapore legal and regulatory requirements and ability to identify compliance issues.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Proactive and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain reinsurance contracts using templates and standards.
• Regularly update master contract templates to reflect regulatory and business changes.
• Assist in developing standardized contractual templates for consistency.
• Provide contractual guidance to Underwriting and Sales teams.
• Draft and customise regulatory clauses and complex contracts as needed.
• Assess documents for compliance with templates and regulatory requirements.
• Identify deviations from standard terms and escalate risks.
• Develop user guides and training materials for operational teams.
• Support portfolio transfers and novation agreements; coordinate signed documents.
• Provide legal support on Singapore matters and coordinate with the Legal function.
• Research and assess regulatory matters arising from contracts and provide preliminary assessments.
• Escalate matters requiring formal legal advice to senior stakeholders.
• Support contract management tool adoption and digital tooling initiatives.
• Assist in contract library maintenance and workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with team and share knowledge; support junior colleagues.
