Job summary

Zendesk seeks a Regional Vice President of Sales Engineering in Singapore to lead and scale a world-class team of Sales Engineers. You will bridge AI capabilities with business value, driving expansion into enterprise markets and optimizing technical win rates.

You must be a technical heavyweight, a leader of leaders, and a compelling public speaker for C-suite executives. You’ll partner with regional sales leadership to craft pre-sales strategies, land complex enterprise deals, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent (required). MBA is a plus.
• 8+ years leading pre-sales/sales engineering teams; 3+ years managing people-managers in a fast-growing enterprise SaaS environment.
• Deep CX ecosystem knowledge including CRM, CCaaS, WEM, and digital engagement channels.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud (AWS), data privacy/security, integrations (REST APIs, webhooks), and AI/ML in CX.
• Public speaking and executive presence with history of addressing industry conferences and C-suite workshops.
• Commercial mindset with proven ability to partner with enterprise sales teams to grow ACV and accelerate sales velocity.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Market Expansion with regional RVPs to penetrate new enterprise markets and land large-scale accounts.
• Drive Technical Win & Adoption: establish PoC/pilot standards and custom demos to boost win rates.
• Team Development & Leadership: hire and retain top pre-sales talent; mentor managers.
• AI & CX Thought Leadership: deliver keynotes and executive briefings highlighting Zendesk capabilities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: align with Product/Engineering to evolve the AI CX roadmap and address enterprise needs.
