Job summary

Manpower Singapore is seeking a Regional Service Engineer to perform service and repair on all makes and types of Industrial Gearbox and Power Transmission equipment. The role involves root-cause analysis with minimal supervision, clear technical communication with customers, and frequent travel to site locations.

Ideal candidates hold Mechanical Fitter qualifications, strong industry knowledge, safety mindset, and field service experience.

Qualifications

• Mechanical fitter trade qualified and aware of safety standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use workshop measuring equipment.
• Experience in field service and working with customers at various levels.
• Willingness to travel for site work and OEM training.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of service and repair for industrial gearbox and power transmission equipment.

Role Summary

Tasks (including but not limited to):

• All aspects of all makes and types of Industrial Gearbox & Power Transmission equipment service and repair
• Establish root causes for Industrial and Wind power transmission equipment with minimum supervision.
• Ability to exercise judgment on the spot and convey technical information to customers in order to reach the best outcome.
• Frequent travel/site work will be required.
• Willingness for learning and development, including OEM training.

Mandatory skills:

• Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualified
• Industry knowledge
• Safety conscious with a thorough understanding and compliance with work safety standards
• Technical ability to read engineering drawings and workshop measuring equipment
• Ability to manage workload with a results-driven attitude
• Basic computer skills
• Dedicated, reliable, and able to work in a team
• Field Service Experience
• Ability to deal with people at all levels
• High-risk work license, FLT, Dogging, Rigging, work at height, etc. advantageous but training will be given
