Job summary

Monee SG Private Limited in Singapore is seeking an experienced Cross-Border Payments Specialist to lead growth in cross-border transactions. You will define features, work with country teams, and partner with payment networks to expand our global FX and settlement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, International Business, or Economics.
• Minimum 3+ years experience in transactional banking, payments or related field.
• Knowledge of payments market, AML/KYC regulations, and customer needs.
• Understanding of international payment methods (SWIFT) and FX mechanisms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth of cross-border payment business with initiatives such as new product offerings, feature enhancements, app experience improvements, ecosystem partnerships, tactical campaigns and pricing strategies.
• Define and prioritize payment features based on customer needs and market feasibility.
• Develop a deep understanding of global payment regulations, foreign exchange markets, and currency fluctuations.
• Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify customer needs, trends, and opportunities in the cross-border payment space.
• Work collaboratively with different teams, such as country business and marketing teams, product designers, business intelligence to launch and promote user-friendly and innovative cross-border payment products.
• Cultivate relationships with potential partners, including money transfer operators (MTOs), correspondent banks, and fintech companies.
• Negotiate and structure strategic partnerships to enhance our payment / FX network and service offerings.
• Analyze product performance, identifying areas for optimization and growth, including transaction speeds, fees, and conversion rates.
• Recommend and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience for cross-border payment services.
• Lead market entry initiatives for new countries or customer segments.
