Job summary

Alfa Laval Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a proactive Regional Business Manager, Combustion Solutions to drive growth across the assigned region. You will empower local sales companies, build relationships with shipyards and ship owners, and position Alfa Laval as the preferred partner for new vessels.

You will act as the regional expert on market dynamics, strategy, and business development, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve ambitious targets and optimize go-to-market execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• Proven experience in the marine industry with a strong commercial orientation.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships and networks.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to translate needs into opportunities.
• Excellent team player who fosters collaboration and motivates others.
• Self-driven, proactive, able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong communication, networking, and teamwork with regional sales companies to drive business and sales.
• Build and maintain relationships with shipyards, ship owners, and key market players to secure new opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, including visits, opportunities, account plans and activities.
• Develop and execute a regional business plan identifying growth opportunities.
• Participate in daily sales projects supporting sales teams through the cycle.
• Gather and analyse market and competitor information to inform strategy.
