Job summary

Alfa Laval Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a seasoned Marine Service Engineer to perform planned service, commissioning, and troubleshooting for Alfa Laval systems aboard vessels. Travel domestically and internationally is required to service on-board equipment and ensure top-quality support.

The role requires a 5+ year track record on vessels, fluent English, and strong cross-cultural communication. Extensive knowledge of marine systems, ballast water treatment, and automation is essential for success

Qualifications

High school diploma or higher; bachelor’s in Marine Engineering is a plus.
5+ years field service experience on board vessels.
Familiarity with marine mechanical and electrical systems.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Good cross-cultural communication and reporting skills (MS Word/Excel).
Experience with CRM systems and planning tools.
Knowledge of ballast water treatment, separators and automation.

Responsibilities

Perform planned service, commissioning, and troubleshooting for Alfa Laval systems aboard vessels.
Travel domestically and internationally to service jobs on board vessels.
Follow SOPs to ensure efficient execution.
Provide technical support and on-board training to customers.
