Nippon Shokubai (Asia) Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced General Manager to lead regional marketing and business development for Nippon Shokubai Group products in Southeast Asia and India, with paints and coatings positioned as a principal growth area.

The role requires a rare blend of technical expertise, marketing capability and commercial experience across paints, coatings, adhesives, emulsion polymers and related applications, plus English and JLPT N1 proficiency and willingness to travel.

Formación

• 20 years of hands-on R&D experience in paints, adhesives, emulsion polymers, construction chemicals or related industries.
• At least 2 years of practical sales and development experience for paints, adhesives or related applications within the last 2 years.
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial role, coordinating with R&D, marketing and sales across regions.
• Experience in overseas expansion, market development or new market entry for ASEAN and India.
• Business-level English and Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N1) for technical/commercial discussions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development and execution of NSA's regional marketing strategy for Southeast Asia and India.
• Identify growth opportunities through market research, competitor analysis and customer engagement.
• Translate regional needs into product development and commercialization plans with R&D and sales teams.
• Coordinate handover of opportunities to Nippon Shokubai's sales organization and support regional market development.
