Job summary

Irving Knight Group seeks a commercially focused Regional Sales Manager to lead business development across Asia from Singapore. This autonomous, individual contributor role focuses on identifying new opportunities, developing strategic relationships and driving sales of specialty coatings, sealants, adhesives and sports surfaces.

You will build partnerships with wholesalers, hotels, large-scale developments and government stakeholders, deliver product training, and progress opportunities

Qualifications

• Proven track record selling technical or specification-led products across Asia.
• Experience with specialty coatings, sealants, adhesives, or construction products.
• Hunter mentality with strong new business development skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into revenue.
• Experience delivering product training and presentations to applicators and customers.
• Experience engaging with government officials and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies across the Asian territory.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across market segments.
• Build relationships with wholesalers, hotels, large-scale developments, federations and government stakeholders.
• Meet with key decision-makers, industry influencers and government officials to promote solutions and develop commercial opportunities.
• Deliver product training and technical presentations to applicators, customers and other relevant stakeholders.
• Attend industry events, sporting events and federation meetings to generate market awareness and new business.
• Manage and develop selected customer relationships alongside new business activity.
• Build a strong understanding of market conditions, influencers, competitors and customer requirements.
• Progress opportunities through the sales cycle and confidently close business with multiple stakeholders involved.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records, preferably using Salesforce.
• Collaborate with teams in Australia and the United States to support customer requirements and sales growth.
• Provide regular updates on pipeline activity, market developments and commercial performance.
