Job summary

You will oversee a regional cargo team, strengthen partnerships with shippers and freight forwarders, manage credit risk and compliance, provide commercial intelligence to HQ, and ensure operations meet safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a proven track record of senior-level management.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the air cargo industry, including at least 5 years in a managerial position.
• In-depth knowledge of global and regional air cargo markets, with exceptional communication and relationship-building across all management levels.
• Advanced proficiency in data sourcing, predictive analytics, and business intelligence to drive data-informed decisions.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Revenue Growth: Lead the regional cargo team to exceed targets through high-impact sales, marketing, and yield-management strategies.
• Market Adaptability & Revenue Mix: Analyze market dynamics and trends to engineer commercial strategies for sustainable revenue.
• Partnership & Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with shippers, freight forwarders, trade associations, and industry partners at executive levels.
• Financial Risk & Credit Management: Oversee credit risk management and local financial compliance per corporate guidelines and local standards.
• Commercial Intelligence: Analyze market data and local intelligence to provide actionable insights to HQ.
• Operations, Safety & Compliance: Enforce compliance with all operational, safety, and regulatory standards.
