Job summary

EVYONIC SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to manage OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms, drive automation with Ansible, and ensure reliable production operations.

The role focuses on lifecycle management, security, monitoring and incident response within a large-scale enterprise environment. You will collaborate with SRE and infrastructure teams, implement platform modernization initiatives, and develop Bash scripts to streamline repetitive tasks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on OpenShift and Kubernetes in enterprise environments.
• Experience with cluster lifecycle management, upgrades and production support.
• Proficient in Helm, Docker and Git for container operations.
• Strong Ansible experience for infrastructure automation and Linux/RHEL admin.
• Proficient with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring; RBAC and NetworkPolicies
• Solid Linux/RHEL troubleshooting, patching and resource management.
• Bash/Shell automation for operations and platform tasks.
• Experience in Incident Management, SRE and Disaster Recovery.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Administer and support enterprise Red Hat OpenShift OCP and Kubernetes platforms across production and non-production environments.
• Perform cluster configuration, upgrades, node management, capacity planning and platform maintenance.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
• Configure platform access, workload isolation and security controls using RBAC, NetworkPolicies and IAM.
• Implement Ansible-based automation for platform configuration, Linux administration, patching and recurring operational activities.
• Monitor platform health, resource utilization and workload performance using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Troubleshoot OpenShift, Kubernetes, Linux, networking and container-related production issues.
• Support platform availability, incident management, SRE practices and disaster recovery activities.
• Participate in OpenShift platform migration, modernization and infrastructure automation initiatives.
• Develop Bash/Shell automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual platform activities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in OpenShift, Kubernetes, Platform Engineering, SRE or enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience administering Red Hat OpenShift OCP and Kubernetes, including cluster lifecycle management, upgrades, troubleshooting and production support.
• Experience in Helm, Docker and Git for containerized application and platform operations.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Ansible for infrastructure configuration, automation and Linux/RHEL administration.
• Strong experience in Prometheus, Grafana, RBAC and NetworkPolicies in enterprise container platforms.
• Strong production experience with Linux/RHEL, including system troubleshooting, patching, services, processes and resource management.
• Hands‑on experience developing Bash/Shell automation for infrastructure and platform operations.
• Strong experience in supporting Incident Management, SRE and Disaster Recovery activities in production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting experience across OpenShift, Kubernetes, containers, networking and infrastructure components.
