Job summary

EXASOFT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Platform Engineer to design, administer and scale enterprise OpenShift and Kubernetes environments. You will manage lifecycle tasks, automate provisioning with Ansible and Terraform, and build robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.

The role requires strong Linux administration, container expertise, and experience across AWS/VMware. Collaboration with application and network teams is essential for platform stability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Platform Engineering, OpenShift/Kubernetes Administration or Linux Infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience managing OpenShift and Kubernetes at enterprise/production scale.
• Deep RHEL/Linux administration, troubleshooting and infra operations.
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform for provisioning/automation.
• Experience with Docker, Jenkins, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on with Helm for packaging and deployment within container platforms.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana and EFK for monitoring/logging.
• Strong knowledge of Ingress, container networking and connectivity in OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting platform infra across AWS and VMware.
• Strong Python/Bash scripting for automation.
• Proven troubleshooting skills for production incidents and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Design, administer and support enterprise Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms across development, testing and production environments.
• Manage the complete platform lifecycle, including cluster provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades, scaling, capacity planning and routine maintenance.
• Administer RHEL/Linux systems supporting containerized platforms and troubleshoot operating-system, compute, storage and connectivity issues.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and recurring operational activities using Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git to streamline application build, testing and deployment activities.
• Manage containerized workloads using Containers/Docker and standardize application deployments through Helm.
• Configure and support Ingress components and troubleshoot application connectivity within OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
• Implement and maintain platform monitoring and centralized logging using Prometheus, Grafana and EFK.
• Support container platforms and infrastructure deployed across AWS and VMware environments.
• Develop automation and operational utilities using Python/Bash to improve platform administration and reduce manual activities.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support for platform incidents, perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with application and infrastructure teams.
• Participate in platform upgrades, security remediation, change implementation, technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Experience implementing and supporting Prometheus/Grafana and EFK for monitoring, metrics, alerting and centralized logging.
• Strong Experience in Ingress, container networking and application connectivity within OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
