Job summary

EXASOFT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to lead OpenShift and Kubernetes platform administration, upgrades, and production support. You will manage containerized environments with Docker, Helm and Git, and build robust CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab.

The role emphasizes Terraform/Ansible IaC, Linux/RHEL administration, cloud (AWS/Azure) and hybrid infra, GitOps with Argo CD, and strong scripting (Python/Bash).

Responsibilities

• Lead OpenShift OCP and Kubernetes platform administration, upgrades and production support.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker, Helm and Git.
• Develop and maintain Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and releases.
• Implement Terraform and Ansible for Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation.
• Administer Linux/RHEL environments across enterprise platforms.
• Manage AWS and Azure cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
• Implement Argo CD and GitOps deployment workflows.
• Develop automation using Python and Bash/Shell.
• Apply IAM and DevSecOps practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Drive Automation and Cloud Migration initiatives across enterprise environments.

• Perform Helm-based deployments and support application releases across Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift OCP, Kubernetes and Docker, including administration, upgrades and production troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Git, Helm and Argo CD.
• Strong practical experience with Terraform, Ansible and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong hands-on experience administering Linux/RHEL production environments.
• Strong experience in managing AWS and Azure cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience developing automation using Python and Bash/Shell.
• Strong practical experience with GitOps, IAM and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong experience in supporting Cloud Migration and enterprise platform modernization.
• Strong hands-on experience in Incident Management, SRE and Disaster Recovery (DR).
• Hands-on experience with Helm-based application deployments across Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
• Strong production troubleshooting experience with the ability to lead technical activities and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
