Job summary

EVYONIC SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise OpenShift and Kubernetes environments across development, testing, and production.

You will manage cluster lifecycle, perform provisioning, patching, upgrades, and scaling, and ensure reliable OS health on RHEL/Linux systems. You will automate infrastructure and config management using Ansible and Terraform, and build robust CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Git.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in Platform Engineering or Linux infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on OpenShift and Kubernetes administration.

Responsibilities

• Design and support enterprise OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms across dev, test, prod.
• Manage lifecycle: provisioning, patching, upgrades, scaling, capacity planning.
• Administer RHEL/Linux systems and troubleshoot OS, compute, storage, connectivity issues.
• Automate provisioning/configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Git.
• Manage container workloads with Docker and standardize deployments via Helm.
• Configure Ingress and troubleshoot connectivity in OpenShift/Kubernetes.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, administer and support enterprise Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms across development, testing and production environments.
• Manage the complete platform lifecycle, including cluster provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades, scaling, capacity planning and routine maintenance.
• Administer RHEL/Linux systems supporting containerized platforms and troubleshoot operating-system, compute, storage and connectivity issues.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and recurring operational activities using Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git to streamline application build, testing and deployment activities.
• Manage containerized workloads using Containers/Docker and standardize application deployments through Helm.
• Configure and support Ingress components and troubleshoot application connectivity within OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
• Implement and maintain platform monitoring and centralized logging using Prometheus, Grafana and EFK.
• Support container platforms and infrastructure deployed across AWS and VMware environments.
• Develop automation and operational utilities using Python/Bash to improve platform administration and reduce manual activities.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support for platform incidents, perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with application and infrastructure teams.
• Participate in platform upgrades, security remediation, change implementation, technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, OpenShift/Kubernetes Administration or Linux Infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience managing Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms in enterprise or production environments.
• Strong Experience in RHEL/Linux administration, troubleshooting and infrastructure operations.
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, configuration and automation.
• Strong Experience of Containers/Docker, Jenkins, Git and CI/CD processes.
• Hands-on experience with Helm for application packaging, configuration and deployment within container platforms.
• Experience implementing and supporting Prometheus/Grafana and EFK for monitoring, metrics, alerting and centralized logging.
• Strong Experience in Ingress, container networking and application connectivity within OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
• Experience in supporting platform infrastructure across AWS and VMware.
• Strong experience in Python/Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience handling production incidents, root-cause analysis and platform stability issues.
• Strong experience in working with cross-functional application, infrastructure, network and security teams in enterprise environments.
