Job summary

EXASOFT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Platform Engineer to design, administer and support enterprise OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms across development, testing and production environments.

You will manage full cluster lifecycle, automate provisioning with Ansible and Terraform, and build/maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Git. Strong Linux infra, monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana, and experience across AWS/VMware are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Platform Engineering, OpenShift/Kubernetes Admin or Linux Infra.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience managing Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes in enterprise/production.
• Experience with RHEL/Linux administration, troubleshooting and operations.
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform for provisioning and automation.
• Strong experience with Docker, Jenkins, Git and CI/CD processes.
• Hands-on with Helm for packaging and deployment in container platforms.
• Experience with Prometheus/Grafana and EFK for monitoring and logging.
• Experience with Ingress, container networking and connectivity in OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Experience in AWS and VMware platforms.
• Strong Python/Bash scripting for automation.
• Strong incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, administer and support enterprise OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms across dev, test and prod environments.
• Manage platform lifecycle: provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades, scaling, capacity planning and maintenance.
• Administer RHEL/Linux systems supporting containerized platforms, troubleshoot OS, compute, storage and connectivity issues.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management and recurring ops with Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and standardize deployments with Helm.
• Configure and support Ingress and troubleshoot app connectivity in OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain monitoring/logging using Prometheus, Grafana and EFK.
• Support platforms across AWS and VMware environments.
• Develop automation via Python/Bash to improve platform administration.
• Provide L2/L3 support for incidents and coordinate resolution across teams.
• Participate in upgrades, security remediation, change implementation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Design, administer and support enterprise Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms across development, testing and production environments.


• Manage the complete platform lifecycle, including cluster provisioning, configuration, patching, upgrades, scaling, capacity planning and routine maintenance.


• Administer RHEL/Linux systems supporting containerized platforms and troubleshoot operating-system, compute, storage and connectivity issues.


• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and recurring operational activities using Ansible and Terraform.


• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git to streamline application build, testing and deployment activities.


• Manage containerized workloads using Containers/Docker and standardize application deployments through Helm.


• Configure and support Ingress components and troubleshoot application connectivity within OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.


• Implement and maintain platform monitoring and centralized logging using Prometheus, Grafana and EFK.


• Support container platforms and infrastructure deployed across AWS and VMware environments.


• Develop automation and operational utilities using Python/Bash to improve platform administration and reduce manual activities.


• Provide L2/L3 technical support for platform incidents, perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with application and infrastructure teams.


• Participate in platform upgrades, security remediation, change implementation, technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, OpenShift/Kubernetes Administration or Linux Infrastructure.

• Strong hands-on experience managing Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms in enterprise or production environments.

• Experience with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, configuration and automation.


• Strong Experience of Containers/Docker, Jenkins, Git and CI/CD processes.


• Hands-on experience with Helm for application packaging, configuration and deployment within container platforms.


• Experience implementing and supporting Prometheus/Grafana and EFK for monitoring, metrics, alerting and centralized logging.


• Strong Experience in Ingress, container networking and application connectivity within OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.


• Experience in supporting platform infrastructure across AWS and VMware.


• Strong experience in Python/Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks.


• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience handling production incidents, root-cause analysis and platform stability issues.


• Strong experience in working with cross-functional application, infrastructure, network and security teams in enterprise environments.
