Job summary

Qualifications

• A recognized Degree / Diploma in Real Estate or related discipline.
• A reasonable level of analytical skills: qualitative and quantitative.
• Proactive self-starter with good attention to detail.
• Time management to handle concurrent tasks and priorities.
• Effective problem solving and timely escalation when needed.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Proactive management of customer relationships and understanding customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of client’s real estate portfolio including transactions, databases, and critical date monitoring.
• Assist in formulating and implementing portfolio-wide transaction strategies.
• Coordinate resources for real estate activities such as site inspections.
• Monitor critical dates and update progress reports for timely renewals.
• Identify potential new locations based on business needs.
• Review proposals and negotiate rent/lease terms with landlords/tenants.
• Assist with property valuation and timely payment of rent; liaise on payment discrepancies.
• Support marketing activities for the client’s portfolio when required.
• Notify client of expiring leases or rent reviews and advise on rights and obligations.
• Assist in negotiations of termination and make-good obligations; review contracts with solicitors as needed.
• Ensure timely return of cash security deposits where leases end.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and portfolio reviews.
• Maintain good landlord-tenant relationships and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support risk reporting for regulatory and audit activities.
• Work with brokers on portfolio reporting, benchmarking and cost optimization.
• Prepare quarterly updates and performance reports.
