Job summary

Beyondsoft International Singapore is seeking a mechanical design engineer to craft components, enclosures and systems using Creo and other CAD tools. You will perform DFM/DFA analyses, tolerance studies and prototype development to meet performance goals.

The role requires 3+ years in ME part design, strong plastics experience and a demonstrated portfolio. Collaboration with partners and rigorous testing will be essential to deliver cost‑effective, reliable products.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical part design & ownership.
Proficiency in Creo or equivalent 3D CAD tools.
Strong experience in plastic part design, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
Experience in consumer product design is a plus.
A portfolio or project samples demonstrating ME part design experience will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

Design mechanical components, enclosures and systems using CAD tools, including case parts and mechanisms.
Perform DFM and DFA analyses, form/fit/function studies and tolerance stack‑ups.
Develop and refine prototypes based on simulations and concepts, applying creative approaches.
Collaborate with development partners on mechanical design requirements and performance objectives.
Conduct testing and evaluation of prototypes to ensure stability and design compliance.
Manage experiments to characterize and validate design performance.
Contribute to a project team to develop reliable, cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.
