Job summary

Beyondsoft Singapore seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to shape products from concept to validated prototypes. You will design components, enclosures and mechanisms using Creo, perform DFM/DFA and tolerance studies, and collaborate with partners to meet performance goals.

You will develop prototypes from simulations and tests, refine designs, and contribute to cost-effective, reliable solutions for consumer products. A portfolio demonstrating ME design contributions is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical part design & ownership.
• Proficiency in Creo or equivalent 3D CAD design tools.
• Strong experience in plastic part design, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in consumer product design will be an advantage.
• Portfolio or project samples demonstrating ME part design will be highly considered.

• Design mechanical components, enclosures and systems using CAD tools, including case parts, and mechanisms.
• Perform critical design analyses such as Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), form/fit/function and tolerance stack-up studies.
• Develop and refine prototypes based on simulation results and conceptual designs, applying creative and innovative approaches.
• Collaborate and communicate with development partners on mechanical design and development, detailed project requirements, mechanical specifications, and performance objectives.
• Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of prototypes to ensure stability, reliability, and compliance with design standards.
• Managing and executing experiment to characterize and validate design performance
• Participate as a member of project team to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for low to moderately- complex products.
