Job summary

Beyondsoft International (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design components and enclosures using Creo, taking ownership of mechanical parts from concept through production.

You will perform DFM/DFA analyses, develop prototypes based on simulations, and collaborate with partners to meet performance objectives. Rigorous prototype testing will ensure reliability and compliance with design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical part design and ownership.
• Strong Creo or equivalent 3D CAD proficiency.
• Experience in plastic part design, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Portfolio or project examples demonstrating ME part design is valued.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components, enclosures and systems using CAD tools, including case parts, and mechanisms.
• Perform critical design analyses such as Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), form/fit/function and tolerance stack-up studies.
• Develop and refine prototypes based on simulation results and conceptual designs, applying creative and innovative approaches.
• Collaborate and communicate with development partners on mechanical design and development, detailed project requirements, mechanical specifications, and performance objectives.
• Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of prototypes to ensure stability, reliability, and compliance with design standards.
• Managing and executing experiment to characterize and validate design performance.
• Participate as a member of project team to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for low to moderately- complex products.

QUALIFICATIONS
