Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's/degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanism or automation design.
• Experience with plastic, sheet metal and rubber parts is advantageous.
• Good team player with passion for design.
• Familiarity with CAD tools like Pro Engineer and Solid Designer.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand the Scope of Work (SOW).
• Provide supervision and guidance to fellow Engineers for better quality design.
• Perform mechanical parts design (plastic, sheet metal, rubber).
• Design electro-mechanical subsystems, micro-mechanisms and transmission systems.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and suppliers throughout the product cycle.
• Coordinate construction of prototype and pilot run articles.
• Review and evaluate vendors for performance.
• Lead project discussions as required.
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions for development issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Company.
