RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Design Engineer to support product design, development and testing at our Woodlands site in Singapore.

The role involves developing and improving product designs based on project requirements and coordinating with teams during design and production processes. The candidate will prepare and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD, develop prototypes, evaluate design functionality, and consider material and production costs to propose practical

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Must have AutoCAD knowledge and experience.
Experience in design engineering or a related engineering environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and improve product designs based on project requirements.
Prepare and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD .
Develop prototypes and conduct testing to check design functionality and performance.
Consider material, manufacturing and production costs when developing designs.
Prepare and maintain design drawings, specifications, test reports and other project documents.
Work on design improvements and provide practical engineering solutions.
Coordinate with relevant teams during the design and production process.
Perform other engineering and design-related duties when required.
