Job summary

Beyondsoft International (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a driven and innovative Research and Development (R&D) Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

You will bridge the gap between conceptual design and physical reality using CAD tools, simulation software, and hands-on validation to deliver high-quality, cost-effective mechanical solutions for next-generation products. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and has 2–5 years of hands-on design experience with Creo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• 2 to 5 years hands-on experience in mechanical part design and full part ownership.
• Proficiency in Creo (or equivalent 3D CAD design software).
• Strong design experience in plastic parts, injection molding tooling, and plastic manufacturing processes.
• Prior experience in Consumer Electronics / Consumer Product Design.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components, case parts, and internal mechanisms using 3D CAD tools.
• Perform DFM, DFA, form/fit/function, and tolerance stack‑up studies.
• Develop, build, and refine physical prototypes based on simulation insights.
• Design and execute experimental setups to characterize mechanical performance.
• Communicate closely with external suppliers and manufacturing partners on specs, tooling, and performance goals.
• Work within project teams to deliver cost-effective, high-quality mechanical solutions for low-to-moderately complex products.
