YA XING CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent Quantity Surveyor/Tendering professional to support tendering and post-contract activities in Singapore.

You will handle quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and supplier/subcontractor sourcing, ensuring accurate bids and effective cost control. The role involves reviewing drawings, preparing tender documents, and managing variations and payments on site, with 1-2 years of related experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quantity take-off for projects; source suppliers and sub-contractors; collate prices for comparison.
• Prepare tender and contract documents; analyze costings for tender.
• Perform risk, value management and cost control.
• Review tender documents, drawings and quantities taking-off.
• Prepare quotations for technical works, materials and manpower.
• Post-contract: measure quantities, source subcontractors, evaluate price variations, monitor variations.

Job description

Responsibilities

Tender:

• Carry out quantity take-off for project which includes sourcing for supplier and sub-contractor, collate price for comparison
• Prepare tender and contract documents\Prepare and analyse costings for tender.
• Perform risk, value management and cost control
• Responsible for collecting, sorting, check other bidding calculation of quantities.
• Accountable for reviewing tender documents, drawings and quantity taking-off.
• Prepare quotations for various technical works, material, manpower etc.

Post-contract:

• Measurement of quantities
• Sourcing of Subcontractors and suppliers
• Evaluation of price comparison
• Estimation for variations submissions
• Monitoring of project variations
• Valuing completed works and preparing subcontractor’s payment
• Attendance of site/technical meetings including preparation of debrief
• Conducting site measurements
• Review and understand all plans and specifications
• Arranging meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to review the specifications, scope of works and method of construction if required
• Preparation of Tender Queries
• Materials Tracking
• Other Ad hoc duties.

Job Requirements:

• ITE/ Diploma/ Degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• ITE/ Diploma/ Degree in Building, Quantity Survey/ Civil or related is welcome to apply.
