Job summary

LHW CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks a detail‑oriented Quantity Surveying professional to prepare tender proposals, cost estimates and budgets for building projects in Singapore. You will source suppliers, manage quotes, and assist in progress claims and final accounts with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires reading architectural and engineering drawings, performing quantity take-offs and ensuring competitive pricing. Fresh graduates welcome; strong MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma in Building /Quantity Surveying /Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in reading construction drawings and interpreting them for costing.
• Experience with quantity take-off and cost estimation.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical proposal & cost estimation for project tenders.
• Source for local/oversea suppliers, fabricators & sub-contractors.
• Prepare & submit progress claims, variation orders & finalization of accounts.
• Prepare & certify claims for suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Develop, review and monitor tender and contract policies and guidelines.
• Ensure estimates are competitive and material price forecasts are accurate.
• Prepare tender documents, budgets, BOQs and related docs.
• Source, evaluate and compare subcontractors’/ suppliers’ quotations.
• Liaise with client and site professionals (site managers, project managers, site engineers).
• Ad hoc duties when assigned.

Requirement

• Min. Diploma in Building /Quantity Surveying /Engineering or equivalent
• Min. 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Fresh Graduates also welcome
• Able to read construction, architectural & engineering drawings
• Able to interpret drawings for costing and estimation
• Familiar with Microsoft Office
• Ability to take -off quantity with accuracy
