Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Senior QS for a permanent role in the construction sector. The position is based in Woodlands with transport provided and standard 5-day office hours.

The role focuses on supporting the commercial team through pre-contract and post-contract activities, tender submissions, budgets, and subcontractor payments, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management required.
• Minimum 3 years of quantity surveying experience in a main-con environment.
• Must be able to start immediately or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to the commercial team in pre-contract and post-contract phases of fast-track projects.
• Assist with tender preparation, including quantity measurement, BOQ, cost summaries and price comparisons for submissions.
• Prepare progress payment claims, variation orders, and final accounts; support measurement and certification of subcontractor payments.
• Support project budgeting, cost control and cash flow monitoring.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of site events, variations and correspondence to support claims.
• Collaborate with project and safety teams on commercial and site safety initiatives.
• Ensure all activities comply with company safety policies and relevant workplace health and safety legislation.

• Working Hours: 5 days, Office Hours
• Salary Package: Basic + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive support to the commercial team in both pre-contract and post-contract phases of fast-track projects.
• Assist with tender preparation, including quantity measurement, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost summaries, and price comparisons for tender submissions.
• Assist with the accurate preparation of progress payment claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts. Support the measurement and certification of subcontractor payments.
• Support project budgeting, cost control, and cash flow monitoring.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all site events, variations, and correspondence to support claims.
• Collaborate with and support project and safety teams on all commercial and site safety initiatives.
• Ensure all activities comply with company safety policies and relevant workplace health and safety legislation.

Job Requirements:

• At least Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant quantity surveying experience within a main-con environment.
• Knowledgeable in construction costs, methods, and materials.
• Able to start immediately or in short notice.
