Job summary

PeopleSearch Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor to join the headquarters-based pre-contract team, handling tenders for major developments. You will prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for building projects, review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify requirements and cost risks.

You will perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis, source quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, evaluate quotations, and assist in preparing BOQ, tender

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of Quantity Surveying experience in construction.

What you will do

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for building projects
• Review tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify project requirements and potential cost risks.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis to support accurate pricing.
• Source and obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, and evaluate and compare subcontractor quotations
• Assist in the preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ), tender clarifications, and value engineering proposals.

What you will need

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Possess minimum 2 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.
• Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for a Senior position.
