Job summary

SEARCH AVENUE PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a Diploma-qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage tender preparation, cost estimates and procurement for our construction projects, ensuring competitive pricing and accuracy.

You will review drawings and specifications, prepare quantity take-offs, compile and submit tender documents on time, conduct value engineering for savings, and liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to support a smooth award and handover.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 2-3 years of QS/tender experience in construction.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, pricing and local contracts.
• Experience with main contractor/building projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and review drawings, specifications, tender documents and contract requirements.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, tender pricing and cost comparisons.
• Compile and submit complete tender documents within deadlines.

Job Scope:

• Prepare quantity take-offs and review drawings, specifications, tender documents and contract requirements.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to achieve competitive pricing.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, tender pricing and cost comparisons for construction projects.
• Compile and submit complete tender documents accurately within stipulated deadlines.
• Conduct value engineering and identify potential cost savings, commercial risks and opportunities during the tender stage.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors on tender clarifications and support project handover upon successful award.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying / Tender experience within the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, market pricing, local contracts and procurement practices.
• Experience with a main contractor and building construction projects will be an advantage.

Working Hours: Mon - Fri 9am-6pm
Working Location: Ubi

Salary: $6,500
