Job summary

MCI Career Services Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor to support tender and project activities for M&E / Electrical projects, including quantity take-offs, tender documentation, quotations, claims and cost monitoring. The role involves working from both the office and project sites.

You will manage tender drawings, source quotations, evaluate bids, read technical drawings, and monitor claims and payments to ensure accurate cost control.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering or higher as required.
• Knowledge of M&E systems and ability to read/interpret technical drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong organisational and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage tender drawings, documents, BQs and corrigenda; perform quantity take-offs to support costing and tender submissions.
• Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors/vendors; assist with tender evaluation and submissions.
• Interpret M&E drawings, conduct site variation verifications; maintain records for claims and contract administration.
• Verify completed works and subcontractor claims; monitor payment progress and track orders and balances.

Location: Aljunied, Singapore

$3,500 - $6,000 per month (Depending on relevancy of experience)

Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 6:00pm

Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm

Job Summary

The Quantity Surveyor will support tender and project activities for M&E / Electrical projects, including quantity take-offs, tender documentation, quotations, claims and cost monitoring. The role involves working from both the office and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage tender drawings, documents, BQs and corrigenda, and perform quantity take-offs to support accurate costing and tender submissions.
• Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors/vendors, assist with tender evaluation and prepare relevant submission documents.
• Interpret M&E drawings, conduct site verification of variations and maintain supporting records for claims and contract administration.
• Verify completed works and subcontractor claims, monitor claim/payment progress, and track orders and outstanding balances throughout project execution.

Skills/Experience Required

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering. (is a must)
• Knowledge of M&E systems and ability to read and interpret relevant technical drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with good organisational, numerical and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, manage deadlines and learn new systems or technologies as required.
