Job summary

BOCOM ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Singapore team. The role focuses on cost estimation, quantity take-offs, tender preparation, and contract management across MEP projects. You will develop budgets, review subcontractor bids and ensure accurate cost control from tender to completion.

Candidates should have a diploma in Quantity Surveying and at least 3 years in the Singapore M&E sector, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Singapore M&E industry.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs for materials and labour required for MEP installations.
• Assist in preparation and submission of tender and contract documents.
• Prepare and submit progress payment claims and variation orders.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with the cost consultant.
• Evaluate and certify supplier and subcontractor's claims.
• Finalise and close out project accounts.
• Estimate quantities, evaluate sub-contractor quotations and cost comparisons.
• Develop and manage project budgets with cost control throughout the lifecycle.
• Assist in tender documents and participate in procurement processes.
• Administer contracts related to MEP works, including variations and claims.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs.
• Identify and assess potential risks to cost and contract issues.
• Ensure compliance to safety and occupational health practices in Contracts Section.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying


• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in Singapore M&E Industry


• Good communication and presentation skill.


• Able to work independently with minimum supervison.
