Job summary

TSH Lighting Pte. Ltd. is hiring a M&E Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, tender submissions and contract administration for M&E projects in Singapore.

The role covers cost analyses, budget control, subcontractor quotations, and procurement activities, with emphasis on accurate measurement, documentation and coordination with clients and teams. Immediate availability is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant M&E Quantity Surveying experience in Singapore.
  • Good knowledge of tendering, cost estimation, quantity take-off, procurement, progress claims and variation orders.
  • Able to read construction drawings and specifications independently.
  • Familiar with local M&E construction practices and contractual procedures.
  • Good negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
  • Responsible, well-organised, able to work independently and perform under tight deadlines.
  • Candidates who can commence work immediately or on short notice have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, quotations, tender submissions and contract documents for M&E projects.
  • Review drawings and specifications to perform quantity take-off and cost analysis.
  • Manage project costing and budget control from tender stage through project completion.
  • Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Evaluate subcontractor quotations, prepare comparison reports and recommend suitable vendors.
  • Administer subcontractor claims, variation orders (VO), progress claims and final accounts.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards and relevant statutory regulations.
  • Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and project teams on commercial matters.
  • Support tender interviews, contract negotiations and procurement activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for all commercial and contractual matters.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.
