Job summary

PROGETTO PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Interior Design Quantity Surveyor to join our team. You will prepare budgets, perform cost analyses, source suppliers, and manage contracts and variations to ensure on-time, cost-effective project delivery.

The role requires 3–5 years of interior fit-out or construction QS experience, strong knowledge of local materials, and proficiency in AutoCAD or SketchUp. Start date is immediate.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in interior fit‑out or construction QS roles, Singapore experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local construction and ID materials.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or SketchUp.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary budgeting costing for incoming projects.
• Study drawings, perform take-offs from design drawings.
• Call quotations, evaluate bids, source suppliers/subcontractors.
• Prepare quotations for client submissions.
• Administer contracts, manage VO/variation orders and claims.
• Prepare project budget costing, cost control and monitoring.
• Prepare progress claims.
• Evaluate and prepare payments to subcontractors.
• Coordinate with finance on monthly cashflow projections.
• Prepare costing reports and weekly management presentations.
• Collaborate with designers, contractors and clients for cost‑effective delivery.

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Interior Design Quantity Surveyor (ID QS) to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Prepare Preliminary Budgetary Costing for Incoming New Project
• 2. Able to study drawing, analyze drawing and do taking off based on perspective and Design Drawings.
• 3. Call quotation and evaluation of quotation. Source suppliers and subcontractors as needed.
• 4. Preparation of quotation for submission to Client.
• 5. Administer contracts and ensure compliance with terms. Manage Variaon Order (VOs), change requests and claims.
• 6. Prepare project budget costing, Cost Control and Monitoring
• 7. Prepare Progress Claim
• 8. Evaluate and Prepare Payment Certificate to Sub-Contractors / Specialists for completed works
• 9. Work with Finance Team on Monthly Projected Cashflow
• 10. Prepare Costing Report & Weekly Presentation to Management
• 11. Work closely with Designers, Contractors and Clients to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of projects.

Requirements:

• 1. Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 2. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in interior fit‑out or construction QS roles (Singapore experience preferred).
