Job summary

CHEN XUAN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support cost control and budgeting on site and in the office in Singapore. The role requires interpreting drawings and specifications and independent work ability.

You will interpret drawings, prepare budgets, tender base prices, bid quotations and final settlements, and manage contract-related claims and disputes with an autonomous work style.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or related discipline.
• 2 years relevant experience in construction related industry.
• Able to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Capable of accurately interpreting construction drawings and mastering methods for engineering measurement and valuation.
• Familiar with the properties and market prices of construction materials; capable of preparing project budgets, tender base prices, bid quotations, and final project settlements.
• Proficient in practical skills related to construction contract management, claims handling, and dispute assessment.
