Job summary

MAXHUNT RESOURCE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. You will prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions, and take off quantities from drawings and specifications.

You will review BOQ, drawings, and scope of works, source and evaluate supplier quotations, and monitor project costs while liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and site teams. The role rewards performance with pay raises and allowances.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in quantity surveying, construction, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in carpentry, joinery, interior fit-out, or renovation projects.
• Experience in quantity take-off, costing, tendering, VO, progress claims, and final accounts.
• Able to read and understand construction / carpentry drawings.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions
• Carry out quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications
• Review BOQ, drawings, and scope of works
• Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Prepare material and labour cost calculations
• Handle variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts
• Monitor project costs and budget
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams
