Job summary

MAXHUNT RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions. The role involves cost planning, take-offs from drawings, and reviewing scope of works to support project delivery.

Responsibilities include sourcing supplier quotations, calculating material and labour costs, managing variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts, while monitoring budgets and liaising with clients and site teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in QS, construction, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in carpentry, joinery, interior fit-out, or renovation projects.
• Experience in quantity take-off, costing, tendering, VO, progress claims, and final accounts.
• Able to read construction / carpentry drawings.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions
• Carry out quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications
• Review BOQ, drawings, and scope of works
• Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Prepare material and labour cost calculations
• Handle variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts
• Monitor project costs and budget
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams
