Job summary

ADECCO PERSONNEL PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support cost estimation, budgeting, tender preparation, and contractors' proposals. The role includes evaluating quotations, preparing take-offs, and assisting with contract administration.

You will monitor project costs, handle variation orders, final accounts, and ensure budgets are maintained by liaising with teams, consultants, and suppliers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering required.
• Min 3 years of quantity surveying experience will have an advantage.
• Basic understanding of construction contracts, costing, and tendering processes.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.
• Support the evaluation of quotations, tenders, and subcontractor proposals.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and measurement of works based on drawings and specifications.
• Assist in contract administration, variation orders, and claims management.
• Track project costs and support monthly cost reporting and forecasting activities.
• Monitor subcontractor progress claims and payment certifications.
• Maintain project commercial records and documentation.
• Liaise with project teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers on commercial matters.
• Support cost control initiatives to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
• Assist with final account preparation and project close-out activities.
