Job summary

CHONG DE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Contracts/Quantity Surveying professional to support a Deputy Contracts Director and the QS team in overseeing project cost control and contract administration.

You will assist in cost budgeting, cash flow preparation, tracking design and construction changes, and facilitate timely award of subcontractors and suppliers, while managing extension of time and cost claims and final accounts.

Qualifications

• Singaporean / PR status required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide a team of project QSs.
• Assist in preparing cost budget and cash flow for the project.
• Track changes in design/construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
• Assist with extension of time and cost claims.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure timely award of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Communicate with the technical team to ensure quotations comply with specifications and method of construction.
• Produce quantity measurement within the targeted timeline.
• Prepare and call quotations, including analyzing and evaluating for costing of tender; or negotiate and award of subcontracts for the project.
• Review and prepare agreements for award to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Certify and evaluate progress work done, including contract administration for variations for both subcontract and main contract works.
• Assess and submit monthly progress claims, and recommend subcontractor’s monthly progress payment.
• Finalize subcontract and main contract’s final account.
