Job summary

BLUE SKY BUILDER PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable professional to support contracts and planning teams across sub-contract projects in Singapore.

The role involves preparing progress claims, quotations and variation submissions, and tracking project progress with attention to measurement and valuation of variations. The candidate should hold a degree or diploma in relevant fields and be proficient in MS Excel and AutoCAD, with strong negotiation and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Projects & Facilities Management, Building, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
• Strong motivation, independence, and mentoring ability.
• Familiar with Singapore public and private contract conditions.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented and methodical.

Responsibilities

• Support the Contracts Director/Contracts Manager and Planning & Engineering managers across sub-contract projects.
• Submit progress claims, quotations and variation orders (VOs).
• Monitor project progress; measure and value variations; finalize final accounts.

Education

Support the Contracts Director/ Contracts Manager and/or Planning & Engineering managers during the whole process of sub-contract project

Submission for progress claim, quotation and VO submission

Monitor and keep track of project progress and responsible for measurement and valuation of variation in the work during the sub-contract project period

Finalize project’s final account.

REQUIREMENTS/ COMPETENCIES

Degree/Diploma in Projects & Facilities Management or Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.

Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently and good mentor to the QS team. Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

Well-versed in both public and private Conditions of Contract used in Singapore

Strong negotiation, interpersonal skills and a team player Attention to detail and methodical approach to work

Proficient in MS Excel and AutoCAD and the ability to learn new specialist software
