Job summary

Union Builders PTE LTD in Singapore is hiring a Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our construction team. You will manage costs, prepare tender documents, and monitor expenditures to ensure value and compliance with contract terms.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of QS experience, strong ownership, teamwork, and excellent communication. Work hours are Mon-Fri 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Sat 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, on-site location at 11 Woodlands Close.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor (QS).
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Good critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Allocate work to contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Communicate with management, contractors, and subcontractors regarding cost estimate adjustments.
• Conduct negotiations during project execution to resolve issues efficiently.
• Manage project scope to achieve objectives and deliverables.
• Develop cost-reduction strategies to maximize project value.
• Monitor project costs in accordance with building contract requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Prepare tender and contract documents in accordance with construction regulations.
• Perform cost analysis to optimize project value.
• Provide professional advice on contractual claims and scope management.

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
