Job summary

TIMBER PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 5+ years of local experience to manage cost control, tenders, and final accounts on construction and interior fit-out projects.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure timely communication and accurate cost management, procurement support, and proper documentation. The role requires independent work in a fast-paced environment and knowledge of contracts and tendering.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in QS, Building, Construction Management or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of Singapore-based experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience in construction or interior fit-out projects; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender documents and quotations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure timely communication and smooth project execution.
• Assist in tender submissions and tender evaluations.
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the project.
• Support procurement and material costing.
• Maintain proper project documentation and reports.
• Attend project meetings and site visits when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
