Job summary

Song Fa Bak Kut Teh Food Pte. Ltd. is seeking a QC Inspector to perform routine quality control checks on incoming materials, in-process goods, and finished products in our central kitchen.

You will ensure GMP compliance, hygiene, and food safety requirements, maintain documentation, and support ISO 22000 audits. Weekend/public holiday work may be required with compensation and leave in lieu as applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting QC inspections on materials and finished products.
• Familiarity with GMP and hygiene practices in food production.
• Knowledge of ISO 22000:2018 and how to apply it in audits.

Responsibilities

• Reports to Head of Department
• Office Address: 1550 Bedok North Ave 4 Singapore 489950
• Working Hours: 5.0 Day work week (44 working hours/week)
• Full Day 7.30am to 4.30pm or 8.30am to 5.30pm or 10.30am to 7.30pm (rotation)
• Salary Pay Out date: 5th/7th of the following month
• Annual Wage Supplement: 1.0 month
• Variable/Performance Bonus available (twice in a year)
• Probation Period: 3 months (includes time for training) (Salary adjustment applicable should candidate is confirmed of her position.
• Individual must be willing to work on weekends & Public Holidays (should situation require)
• 1 day off in lieu/leave will be return for work done on weekend/Public Holiday
• Annual Leave - 7 days annual. Increase 1 day for every year worked. Maximum is 14 days
• Sick Leave is 14 days / Hospitalisation Leave including sick leave is 60 days
• Birthday Leave - 1 day and Family Day Leave - 1 day
• Medical Reimbursement - $40/visit (Capped at $600/year)
• Dental Reimbursement: $100/year

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct routine Quality Control (QC) inspections on incoming raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP) products and finished products.
• Carry out regular GMP, hygiene and food safety inspections in the Central Kitchen.
• Complete and maintain QC inspection checklists, monitoring records and other documentation.
• Verify that production records and monitoring forms are available and accurately completed by production staff.
• Verify cleaning and sanitation activities in accordance with established cleaning schedules and hygiene requirements.
• Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with GMP, food safety standards and company SOPs.
• Report any food safety issues or non-conformances to the QA/QC Executive for follow up.
• Collect product samples and assist in arranging laboratory testing as instructed.
• Assist in monitoring contractors and service providers (e.g. pest control, maintenance and calibration) to ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System.
• Assist in internal audits, external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Maintain proper filing and organization of ISO22000 records and inspection documents.
• Participate in training programmes and continuously improve knowledge of food safety and GMP requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager from time to time.
