Job summary

Four Leaves Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive QA/QC assistant to support investigations into customer complaints, perform root-cause analysis, and help maintain food safety standards across production and retail outlets. You will conduct hygiene audits, manage QA documentation, assist in SFA inspections and internal/external audits, and collaborate with Production to foster a strong quality culture.

NITEC/Higher NITEC in Food Science & Technology or related discipline required; min 1 year in QA/QC

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of QA/QC experience in food manufacturing or related environment.
• Able to maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Detail-oriented with strong observation and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in investigating customers' complaints, product non-conformities and quality issues by supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support weekly pest control activities and monitor pest control records.
• Conduct monthly internal hygiene audits and visual inspections of production areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory consumables, production tools, cleaning equipment and other QA/QC supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
• Manage chemical inventory, including stock-taking, replenishment, distribution to factory and retail outlets, and maintaining accurate usage records.
• Prepare, print and distribute cleaning schedules, inspection checklists and weekly/month monthly QA documentation.
• Maintain accurate reports and documents.
• Support SFA inspections, customer audits and internal/ external certification audits.
• Work closely with Production and other departments to promote a strong food safety and quality culture.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the QA/QC Manager.

• Mon-Fri: 8am-6pm
• Sat: 8am-12pm (Required to work every Sat before probation; alternate Sat after confirmation)

Job Requirements:

• NITEC/ Higher NITEC in Food Science & Technology, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.
• Min. 1 year of relevant QA/QC experience in food manufacturing, food processing, central kitchen or related food production environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety requirements.
• Able to maintain accurate documentation and complete records in a timely manner.
• Detail-oriented with strong observation and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
