Job summary

Dimerco Express Group is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure operations align with SOPs and regulatory standards. You will lead QA activities, support customer audits, and manage documentation across warehousing and freight processes.

The role requires 1–2 years in freight forwarding, proficiency in MS Excel, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to coordinate between customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics or Supply Chain.
• 1–2 years freight forwarding experience; air/ocean freight preferred.
• Proficient with MS Excel and MS Office applications.
• Strong learning agility, accountability, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations follow quality standards, company SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, manage and maintain internal QA activities across DIMSIN for compliance.
• Support and maintain external customer audits and audits on warehouse, import/export.
• Handle claims and quality-related programmes.
• Use 8D and RCA to resolve issues and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain SOPs, process documentation, and KPI reports.
• Act as a contact between customers, internal teams, and external partners.
• Coordinate projects, assist IT with system enhancements, provide training.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure operations follow quality standards, company SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, manage and maintain all internal Quality Assurance (QA) activities across DIMSIN to ensure full compliance with company SOPs and quality standards.
• Support and maintain external customer audits (e.g., STP PLUS renewals) and conduct audits on warehouse, import, and export processes.
• Handle claims and quality-related programmes.
• Use 8D and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve issues, implement preventive measures, and share best practices.
• Maintain SOPs, process documentation, and KPI reports.
• Act as a point of contact between customers, internal teams, and external partners.
• Coordinate projects, assist with system enhancements with IT, provide training, and support daily operations.
• Perform other duties and assignments as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of freight forwarding experience; air and ocean freight experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with other Microsoft Office applications.
• Good understanding of air freight operations and shipment documentation will be an advantage.
• Fast learner with a proactive attitude and a strong sense of accountability.
• Able to multitask, prioritise workload, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
• High accuracy in documentation and operational processes.
