Job summary

Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer ensures that all products, processes, and systems meet company, regulatory, and customer quality requirements. This role involves developing and implementing QA procedures, performing detailed inspections and testing, conducting root-cause analyses, and working closely with production, engineering, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all products, processes, and documentation comply with contract specifications, engineering standards, and company quality requirements.
  • Conduct inspections, verification, and validation activities throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Review, evaluate, and approve material specifications, engineering drawings, and supplier deliveries.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA procedures, control plans, and work instructions.
  • Coordinate and schedule QA/QC inspections and testing activities.
  • Monitor daily inspection results, non-conformances, and material movement into the factory.
  • Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Lead internal audits, support external audits, and ensure compliance with ISO quality systems.
  • Review and assess third-party inspection and testing reports.
  • Document and maintain all QA-related data, reports, and quality records accurately and promptly.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands‑on experience in quality assurance or quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in measurement techniques; CMM operation or programming is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001; exposure to ISO 17025 or other quality systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, standard tolerances, and relevant industry codes.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and able to write clear technical reports in English.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong knowledge of material properties, measurement methods, and fixture/clamping techniques.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional and multinational teams.
  • Thorough understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, etc.).
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPC, MSA) for data evaluation and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of quality methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, PDCA, or Six Sigma is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with CMM programming/operation and precision measurement tools.
