Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd invites an experienced QA Lead to drive end-to-end testing across trade projects. You will define test strategies, oversee functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT, and mentor a team of QA engineers to deliver high-quality releases.

You will collaborate with development and business users, manage test environments, and implement robust defect management and reporting to stakeholders, staying ahead of industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for various trade projects.
• Oversee the execution of all testing phases, including functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT.
• Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and efficient completion of testing cycles.
• Ensure the quality of software releases by identifying, documenting, and tracking defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to analyze and resolve issues, ensuring defects are addressed promptly.
• Implement and maintain robust defect management processes.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of testing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Define and manage test environments, ensuring they are configured correctly and available for testing.
• Develop and maintain test data strategies to support various testing scenarios.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders and management.
• Prepare comprehensive test reports and metrics to evaluate testing effectiveness and project readiness.
• Act as a key liaison between business users, development teams, and other project stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and trade finance.
• Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to the enhancement of automated testing frameworks and tools.
